Oven quits as the warranty runs out

We bought this stove July of 2018 and now Aug 2019 the stove top works great but the oven changes from fahrenheit to celsius on its own and the oven won't turn on. I set it back to F and it goes back to C and started beeping and the screen went black. There is nowhere to research this problem and no help without expensive repair tech. We have Amana products but this one turned out to be a disappointment.

Our landlord bought us this stove. We love the oven but it takes forever to boil water and even then it doesnt come to a complete boil. It take over an hour just to cook spaghetti noodles and with a family of 9 that's not a thing. Is there anyway of changing the elements on this stove to just normal elements.

Boiling water?

I've had my new freestanding range for about two weeks now. The oven works great, but I tried to boil 2 cups of water the other day, in the old fashion way, and after 30 minutes it never did boil. So I went back to the manual, and researched on Google. I understand that UL required new burner coils. However, I shouldn't have to have hot water to start with, keep it covered and still have to wait 15 minutes before I saw the first bubbles of a rolling boil. It seems a little ridiculous to me that something as simple as boiling water now takes a significant amount of time to achieve. Otherwise I've fried eggs and cooked meat on the top of the range with no problem.

The part (top panel computer) that failed on our 7 year old "Smooth top" Amanna. Part was $290+ + Service call & labor to install...over $400.! Almost a new unit. We chose (this time) for your "simple" 4 coiled top unit. Turns out the same red light (probably the same electronic control) will fail also. We thought going to "simplest"range would eliminate this problem...appears we were wrong....We are seniors and cannot afford major $$ mistakes! Is this the same electronics that previously failed us? Could not bake! Got F2 then F5 (F15?) NO explanations in the owners manuals! WHY NOT??

I wish it had a light to indicate which burner was on, it does not have self clean oven, but otherwise, it seems okay. I put it in a rental property- haven't heard any complaints from the tenant.,
