good little chopper

I love KitchenAid and have a lot of their appliances. This chopper works just fine but I didn't give it 5 stars because it was a little difficult to figure out how to open/close the lid, turn it on, and what direction the bowl needs to go to lock it into place. Another reviewer had mentioned something similar to the difficulty of how to use it so I took time to figure it all out before washing it and using it.

Nice Size for a Small Kitchen

My kitchen is quite small (apartment living), so I needed a smaller (or mini) food processer that could provide me with the power of a full-sized model in a nice small package. This food chopper meets my requirements, and has proved itself quite helpful. It has done well chopping soft foods, but I haven't yet tried it on tougher items. I love that it has a built in cord wrap to keep things neat. My only gripe is that the lid can be difficult to dissasemble for cleaning. The top black "ring" seperates from the clear lid, but it can be a little tricky to "unsnap" two plastic pins. I worry that this may be the first part to break on this machine.

Using kitchenaid food processors for more than a yr now. Just love them, simple to clean, simple to chop or puree, simple to connect with the customer service too! Just 2 things if fixed can make this far perfect, 1. The blade + food in the bowl makes it harder to place it on top of the machine sometimes. So i have to first place the empty bowl, add the blade and then the food. I wish this was fixed. 2. The chopping mode is also tooo fine sometimes, i wish it was a bit chunky and not so fine!!!!! Nothing of this is not not workable... Just minor improvements.

Love this mini chopper! I have a Cusinart immersion blender with the mini chopper attachment but the blade snapped and two replacement blades from the manufacturer didn't fit at all. So.... I looked no further than Kitchenaid. I love it, it does what I need and no problems. And I'm positive this will last a long time, I've had my Kitchenaid food processor for at least 20 years and it's never let me down!

I bought KitchenAid - 3.5 Cup Mini Food Processor to make my onion paste and purees. and it worked perfectly. I am glad to have it.

I love this Mini Food Processor. Very convenient for small job and easy to clean. Does not take up counter space.
