wire beaters failed with first use

I bought this a week ago and now I find that expectations of quality and durability were too high. The mixer itself is fine but the beaters / mixer things failed on the first use. 1. you must insert the beaters correctly in the right insertion points - done but the wires hit each other. I checked the insertion and noticed the wires were slightly bent. I expected the wires to be welded someway at the bottom to keep their shape, place and not hit each other. I have a large KitchenAid stand mixer and expecting the same no problems use.

I really like this hand mixer. It's sturdy and you can feel the power as it mixes all matter of food stuffs. It replaced a Black & Decker that never performed well. Another great feature is the stainless beaters which don't rust after going thru the dishwasher. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that the slowest speed is still a bit fast for starting to mix.

This was the most expensive hand mixer on the shelf at WalMart, but I wanted a product not made in China, so I got this one. I have a kitchenaid refrigerator, down-draft cooktop, microwave oven (used to have a kitchen aid dishwasher which I loved). I like my new hand mixer, just wish it came with power boost, as it would whip cream and egg whites a lot faster with power boost feature built in.

I have owned a number of hand mixers over the years and the KitchenAid mixer is by far the quietest one. It's rare to be able to use a hand mixer and not have to raise your voice while having a conversation. I love the speed selection as it does not throw flour or other light ingredients around when you first start it. It is easy to crank up the power for heavier mixing and does not seem like the motor is strained at all with large batches of cookie dough. All in all, this is a great mixer!

Great mixer! Replaced my 7 speed handmixer, and I don't miss the extra speeds. Minor issue was not seeing the beater plus sign, to show which beater goes in which hole. The mixer is lightweight, and very comfortable to use. The plug through s to the left or right, which is a nice feature.

I bought this a month ago, and am so happy with it. It works great. I have other kitchen aid appliances and am never disappointed with any of them. I feel I can count on my purchases if they are kitchen aids. It's easy to operate, looks great and cleans up easily. Thank you for another great kitchen appliance.

I bought this mixer to replace my food network mixer that I have not liked since I bought it. I could not love this mixer more! Does a great job and I am just sooo happy!
