Chops Almonds, too!

This blender has the Kitchen Aid name behind it and the blender easily blends my protein shakes with ice, frozen fruit, and almonds. It also handles peanut butter with no problem. The blender does NOT travel when it is turned on, either. My meal prep is so effortless! I have tried many recipes from the cook book that came with it. I made sorbet- so quick and easy to make. I can't wait to make the soups and sauces. I like the self-clean feature with 30 seconds later ( just hit the button and it times it for you), it is clean - all in ONE piece. I don't have to worry about a rubber gasket drying out either. Also, with previous blenders (other brand names), after taking apart the blade, gasket, and bottom piece to clean it, at times, it would NOT seal correctly resulting in liquids leaking all over the motor.

Large Jar, Powerful Motor

I have been using my new KitchenAid blender for about three weeks now and the more I use it the more impressed I am with the motor and its ability to mix and blend most anything I put into the jar. This Pro Line Blender was a great buy for me.

When we married, we each had an Oster blender; I guess they were state of the art at the time. We junked those over 20 years ago, and did not buy a replacement because we thought blenders were not all that great. Recently we decided to try again, and did a lot of shopping before choosing the KitchenAid. This blender is fantastic. We love it. Very powerful. Great quality. Catchy design. The self clean feature is super. I use it every morning to create a healthy breakfast smoothie. We use it on the weekends to make rum coolers. One touch of reality: all this ability and power is not possible without some noise, but it's only for seconds and therefore not a problem in our opinion.
