I love the stove top, but it takes 15 Min to preheat the oven. My old stove only took 15 Min to preheat. This adds additional cook time in the kitchen & its not convenient for a quick heat up item. It fit perfect & looks great.

I have enjoyed using my Kitchen Aid range. The warming zone is a wonderful bonus. The baking drawer is helpful when needing to keep something warm until everything is ready. The triple sized element allows me to cook everything from a small sauce pan up to large stew pot.

Doesn't turn off when you turn it off

I have had this range for about a year now. I would never buy it again. Above each burner knob are the usual painted-on dots that indicate which burner is controlled by which knob. With just normal cleaning, the dots are long gone, so there is no way to know which knob controls which burner. After countless emails to Kitchenaid's help desk, I gave up because a tree full of monkeys could have written more helpful responses. Also, after you use the oven and turn it off, the convection fan will keep going for an hour or more, in order "to cool" the controls and components. I've never seen another oven that was so delicate that the interior components needed to be cooled. While the convection fan is running for that additional hour (or more), how much is it running up my power bill? Do yourself a favor and buy another brand.

Our other Kitchen Aid oven/range was not fixable. We ordered this unit and Whirpool shut their plant down and we had to wait several months to have this unit shipped and sent. We were asked by our sales rep if we wanted to order another model they could get sooner and we declined. We are certainly glad we did.

Love the stove! Good controls. Easy to clean. Lower drawer works great for pizza and warming. Lower drawer model may not be for you if you are older since you have to be able to bend low. We are enjoying this great stove.

This new oven was installed in our renovated kitchen in March, and despite the fact that the delivery guys connected it incorrectly and the circuit box "blew up" and the stove was ruined, we are now searching for a new range. I am not sure I'd get this one again, as the controls being in the front of the range as they are were super sensitive. Everytime we walked by it seemed, something beeped or a burner would turn on or the oven would start to preheat. This was a bit unsettling to think we may not realize these things and it would be left on. Kitchen Aid has made this suite of cool looking appliance; I'll admit I was a sucker for the cool handles, but there isn't much going on for them behind the cover. Very diappointed in a name I thought I can trust.

I brought the whole package, range, microwave, Dishwasher and fridge. I have had to have seals on fridge replaced 3 times. Icemaker 3 times and it makes a loud noise. It also has rust stains at does my range. I have not been able to use the oven for over 6 months. It starts to heat up then a error code comes on ! Dishwasher doesn't dry heat. The only Kitchen Aid products that accurately worked is the mircwave. NO ,I would not recommend any Kitchen Aid products to friends or family. I have tried to resolve the problems with kitchen aid associates, but was told they don't make the Appliances that I purchased only 2 years ago. I am totally disgusted . Now I am told I can purchase another warranty for the range that they don't make anymore for over $500.00 . very disappointed with kitchen aid associates. What Happened to pride in your products!!

Stove is beautiful and cooks well but the top mars and scratches easily, if I had it to do over I believe I would have purchased a different brand. I've used the oven twice and the oven light has already went out. Oven light is great if functional, but it's only been turned on twice and now light is blown. Hard to clean the top without turning on stove. You would think for over 2k the top would have better scratch resistant glass and not leave stains that can't be cleaned. Wish I would have kept my Maytag!

I received this range in October 2017. It was replaced by my dealer the repairman could not fix the heating problems with my oven. Mother board was even replace. the replaced is fine, but the Aqualift system is horrible. Does not matter how many times I run it the oven is never clean. Even with some elbow grease it does not come clean. For the price of this oven it should clean itself. I am 67 years old and it is very hard for me to get on my knees due to knee replacements. I have always been a Kitchenaid supporter but no more. Also the oven takes to long to come to temperature. Not very efficient.

The baking drawer does not have an element that can heat past 360. I preheated the oven for 2 hours to get to that temp. The rest of the stove is okay. It is slow to preheat and the timer is not loud enough and only beeps once. I like the capacity of the oven and the steam bake is wonderful for bread. When using the convection bake I leave the temperature what the recipe recommends or it takes extra time to bake. I am learning to use this stove and I think it will bea good purchase. I did trade it for the same stove without the "baking" drawer. My low rating is because of the baking drawer.

Oven light fail

If you want to waste your money run out and buy one of these ovens. AquaLift tech is a joke and does not work. Had service out to fix the problem but it still does not work. I've read so many neg reviews about AquaLift - a little too late, unfortunately. The burners are so hot your only option is to cook things on low and they still burn.

Awful Service

We purchased our Kitchenaid appliances about 9 months ago and have had 5 service calls for our range. Initially our oven wouldn't heat past 240F so a service tech was sent in. I waited a week to have it fixed. Then a few months later it happened again and the stove top also stopped working along with the oven. They determined the last service company installed the power incorrectly, it arced and created a fire in the back of my stove. I've had 4 service calls since that and it still isn't fixed. I called Whirlpool and they literally offered nothing after escalating my calls. I'm out 4 work days and several hundreds of dollars in take out. I'm not a review writer but I've never seen someone abandon a product and a customer like this in my life. I've been down a total of 4 weeks since owning my Kitchenaid range and i highly suggest if you value even decent service find another company rather than Whirlpool/KitchenAid.

beautiful but finicky

I love the look of my new range. It cooks beautifully. Bakes ok. I'm still figuring out the convection since I've never had that before. The lack of a locking feature on the touch control panel is a HUGE problem. My naughty cat constantly turns on the warming burner, oven, and even the timer on the rare occasion. My husband is going to make a wooden pad to put over it when it's not in use. Big miss for a safety feature. Now the worst. I just used the aqua lift cleaning system. A call is in for a repair man for our 6 month old range. It didn't get steamy and much of the water was still in the reservoir. It did nothing to clean at all. The side walls require elbow grease...and wait for it...no cleaning solutions. It is impossible to get a clean oven. I would rather have my old frigidaire. I can't believe I paid this much. Just spent two hours cleaning my oven...that wasn't even that dirty. It still isn't very clean. Worthless feature. I plan to buy a new oven. Sell this one.

Hasn't Worked from Day One!

After reading the reviews on this range I was very excited to purchase and receive. It looks amazing and is a great size. The love affair quickly vanished when I turned on the oven for the very first time to do the initial burn in. When it got to about 170 degrees, an error message came on and shut the unit down. The error was regarding an upper cooling fan not running fast enough? Strange. I had to turn power off and back on to get it to reset. It did this several more times. I called Home Depot customer service who arranged it to be looked at by the delivery and install company. They came today and are having to order a replacement. On a brand new oven! They are also replacing the Kitchenaid dishwasher (due to a shotty install job that broke the top rack) as well as the Kitchenaid microwave that we refused deliver due to a huge dent in the side. All in all, not a good experience.

WAS PURCHASED SPRING/SUMMER OF 2017. NOTHING BUT GARBAGE. WHILE IT WAS STILL UNDER MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY THEY REPLACED THE TOUCH PAD AND THEN TRIED TO GET THEM BACK OUT WHILE IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, WE NEVER COULD GET THEM TO COME OUT AND REPLACE THE ONE THAT THEY REPLACED BEFORE.

Disappointed in Kitchen Aid - Buyer Beware

I am in the process of finishing a complete kitchen remodel and after much research and previous experience with kitchen aid appliances in my basement kitchen, I selected an entire kitchen of kitchen aid appliances for upstairs. My range arrived without the wireless meat probe that was to be included. I made several phone calls to kitchen aid and was told it would be shipped and I would receive it in October. I did not receive it as promised. I am now being told that they no longer make the wireless probes for this range and they can't get me what was supposed to be included with my purchase. My custom cabinets as well as counters have been made to fit this stove precisely. I now have an 'incomplete' product from kitchen aid and they offer no resolution to their inability to correct their error. I am truly disappointed as I will never be able to have an integrated probe that works with my range. I use the probe regularly for large cuts of meat and it was a major factor in my decision to purchase this range. I can't rate the range otherwise as I haven't used it yet.

Great until the glass door exploded

I love this range, has all the features I wanted and enjoyed using it for 2 weeks before the inside glass on the door exploded. Thankfully it was contained within the oven and didn't harm anyone but when I discovered this has been happening for a couple of years, hello? - this issue hasn't yet been fixed? The door is being replaced but I have been ovenless for 2 weeks while the door is ordered. This means I have been waiting to have my range fixed for longer than I have used it. Also, the control panel is very sensitive and positioned so it is easy to bump when cooking, so I would suggest the manufacturer offer a double tap control option or a removable/flippable shield for owners who want an added safety feature.

I went into Pirch in Rancho Mirage and spoke to Jessica who recommended this oven. After always using a gas stove I was hesitant to get an electric. Jessica assured me that I would love it. Well, she was right - it is perfect. It works so well and it looks really nice. What a great range - I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend it.

Bought this new model of Kitchenaid after previous model lasted 15 years. Beautiful, functional and love the secret extra oven in what is usually just a warming drawer. Can't compare quality built items...worth every penny.

Half useful

I've been waiting years to add the stove to the kitchen! We've replaced all appliances with the 1919 collection style. I love to cook and initially wanted the double oven and couldn't find it anywhere in my area and stumbled across this one. I love the capacity and the bottom baking drawer along with the front knobs on an electric, sold me! Only downside is that once installed, the bottom oven is giving the F3E1 error code so both ovens are seemingly unusable until that's resolved. I was panicked the stove top would glitch too but I was able to use the burners at least. I'm grateful it's not entirely unusable but it definitely put a wrench in my plans for it's first use. Also, mine tends to have some streamlined details that don't seem semetrical. Under the knobs, right side has less gap than on the left. While looking up close I noticed. I guess I was excited in the store and didn't pay any attention to the littlest details.

Had to spend $300 for repairs after 2 years!

This is a very expensive range. I have had mine for two years and the blower quit and I had to spend $300 to have it repaired. So, if you're reading this, add that cost to the total price and choose another range.

Installation problem

I bought this range last summer after having a Jenn Air for 35 years. Really spoiled with the features of the Jenn, so I was very critical when selecting a new range. The new range doesn't fit, sticks out too far from cabinet and the height is not tall enough for my 38" high cabinet including countertop. Apparently the legs don't adjust high enough, so I am forced to either get all new countertops or put the stove up on blocks, which looks very tacky. The frame because of the bottom warming drawer isn't strong enough to hold if we braced it with 2 X 4 blocks. I am very disappointed as I have spent a lot of time and money to try to resolve this problem. As for the stove itself, I don't like the Aqua clean. Doesn't seem to clean and then to have to sponge out the water is just another reason not to purchase again. The burners are hard to detect unless turned on as the white dots aren't that helpful, actually detract from the beauty as well as the black top. Always looks dirty and for heavens sake, don't boil over as its unpleasant to clean. I would have rather had a stainless top or possibly white glass.

Sleek design with high end function

I love this oven. I have had double ovens in past kitchens. This accomplished what we need in a smaller space. The convection oven cooks beautifully. The. Cook top is very versatile. Clean up is a snap. The overall design is perfect in my newly renovated kitchen.

Burners are easily soiled and hard to clean. It is not a good design. It can get dirty too easy.
