Whipping cream is no longer flying everywhere!

My mom bought me my mixer for a Christmas gift. She gave it to me early. I am so glad she did because it is only Dec 6, and I have used it at least 10 times! It works like a champ! The mixers I used before (both hand held and stand mixers) always flung stuff all over my kitchen. This Thanksgiving I used my new mixer to whip the cream and no flying cream!!! I purchased the adapter for the apple peeling, as well. It was so easy, fast, and easy clean up. The quality is so nice. The metallic color looks classy. It made Thanksgiving so much easier! Best present ever!

PROBLEMS

Bought my KitchenAid Artisan mixer less than a year ago----I use it mostly to make bread------the mixing speed at the lowest speed is too fast for kneading, and when the kneading is happening, the entire mixer bounces up and down----sometimes the wand will just come up out of the bowl---I notice KitchenAid has come up with a mixer where the bowl is suspended, probably to solve this problem-----that model wasn't available when I got my mixer I am not happy

Flawless, but . . .

Love this mixer it continues to be the bar which others are measured against. BUT the pouring chute is a clear disappointment. It is poorly designed and falls of the top of the mixing bowl with only the slightest of touches. Kitchenaide could easily make this accessory work by extending the three ears another quarter inch and adding lips at the end to catch under the bowl lip. It is a bit concerning that this obvious a flaw made it into production. Come on KA you guys can do better please fix this!
