Terrible - Don't waste your money

this is a terrible product, nothing mixes all the way. they wouldn't take it back cause it was 2 weeks past the date. Not good customer service

It's a keeper

When I first opened the box, the size of the attachments made me wonder if I'd made the right choice. They look like toy attachments compared to the larger model. I decided to give the mixer the "test" of mixing bread dough (4 1/2 cups flour). It did a great job, although the motor was a tad warm by the end of the kneading time. It is a good size for the small recipe sizes.

Why did I wait so long to buy one?

I live in a small urban condo and love to bake. I use a kitchen aid hand mixer that worked really well. The challenge is that many of my recipes have 10+ minutes of mix time. Went with the mini to save space. No regrets. It works really well and easily handles my recipes. It is quieter than expected. I m hoping Santa brings me the pasta attachment for Christmas.

Save shoulder and save time

Never had a mixer before. Not heavy so I can easily move if needed. Stand mixer became a necessity with a shoulder injury. So far used only dough hook and flex beater. Whipping cream should be much easier vs hand held. Easy to operate and clean. Purchased while on sale!

Had a large Kitchenaid which worked well but was very heavy and took up a large area on my counter. The artisan mini is compact and lightweight with all the features of the larger machine.

I purchased this mini 3.5 qt. artisan stand mixer from Kitchenaid and am glad I did. It is just the right size for two of us and still makes a big batch of cookies. And it can accommodate any of the accessories that the 5 qt. mixer holds and what I really love about it is the handle on the bowl. It makes it so much easier to remove the bowl from the stand. Absolutely love this mixer!

Maybe too small

I really like this smaller mixer, but not certain it will be adequate. I have a very large heavy kitchen aid mixer from the mid 1990's. It was starting to give up after so much use. I'll see how this goes before letting go of my first mixer. So far, so good!
