I was given this as a gift a month ago. I wasn't sure what to expect from refurbished, but it has performed great, even on bread dough. The label warned the motor might get a little warm when making breads, but I have not experienced any odor and the housing is always cool to touch. I especially appreciate the recipes with instructions specific to this machine. I have already used my mixer several times with no problems. Would get again!

great Christmas gift

I have been wanting one for several years but have made do with my old style mixer. Got this this year for Christmas and couldn't have been more pleased. Have used it several times mainly cookies and pizza dough and have extremely satisfied with it's performance. One of the best presents in many years. Works as advertised and is easy to use. Takes time off my baking chores, is easy to clean up afterwards. Happy, happy!

I've used a hand mixer for everything for a long time. I've used my grandmas stand mixer twice. I've had my kitchen aid for a few weeks and used it more than I've used my previous stand mixer and absolutely love it. So easy to use and clean!!

Bought one for the wife in December but on the first use it was slipping and would not even mash potatoes. I called the customer service and they sent another mixer right away! We used the new one for the same task and it had no problems and worked well.

I got this as a present. Funny part is I asked for a hand mixer. Also just a note that I needed to adjust the screw so it wouldn't hit the bottom of the bowl. Yes however easy to do & works great!
