Thought I would try a refurbished one because it was much cheaper. Well the blender makes noises like it struggles and the spring where the attachments hook to is missing. You would think a company with a good name like Kitchen aid would care. You would think they would test their products before the sell them as refurbished. Learned my lesson on this one. May as well have just bought one at a garage sale.

Himm and Hawed for a while. Why buy one? Chatted with KitchenAid and learned a lot.. 6 Month warranty! Color of my choice, New bowl, new beaters, Clean.. Nothing wrong, no chips, dents, scratches. No noise, no jumping. Works like a champ should work. Like brand new!! Awesome!! I'm telling anyone I know about buying one. I like it! no I love it! Don't forget to add the splash shield/pouring shield. Wish I had.

I really am blown away by my mixer! I've wanted one for quite some time and my husband bought me one this past Christmas. I have MS and wanted one to help me with mixing recipes because I get so tired when I'm cooking and have to hold a hand mixer for long periods of time. I also have chronic back pain all throughout my back, especially my upper back, shoulder and neck muscles. Holding the hand mixer for extended periods of time really hurts all those upper back, etc muscles. I wanted one to make my own breads too because I believe homemade is better than store-bought processed bread. I've made several fresh loaves of white bread using a KitchenAid recipe from the online blog. It was delicious!

This was a Christmas gift; it's the 1st refurbished item I've ever owned. I've only used it once so far. Heavy duty, good workmanship, easy to put beaters on/off. Will have to get used to the depth of the bowl. Regretfully it did not come with a booklet or brochure on recommended settings for various uses; a small blurb in the parts brochure that did come w/it. Just bought another attachment. It's going to be a learning experience but hopefully a fun one.

at 20 years old I received a hand held mixer as a wedding present. It wasn't until I was 58 that I got my Mothers hand me down mixer that sat on our kitchen counter for years, making wonderful choc chip cookies and other baked goods. I was thrilled to be able to put things into the mixer and walk away or pour ingredients into the bowl while mixing.....But come on....the poor machine was a hand me down from Grandmother to my Mother hence a little old and a little tired. So at age 60 I bought myself this refurbished kitchen aide mixer and Yippie!! I am whipping up meringue, making cookies and baking cakes that taste soooo much better then I have ever been able to make before. Things seem to bake more evenly all because this mixer had the power to blend/mix things the way they should be. I justified buying this mixer because soon I will be retiring and with all the different attachments that I can purchase I'm hoping to get rid of many other stray appliances.( ice cream maker, pasta machine, etc.) and I intend to enjoy many years of making sinful delights! my only regret is I waited this long to purchase this mixer! I have always wanted a kitchenaid stand mixer but the prices are pretty high. In a way you pay for excellent quality. This year, my husband said, "it is your birthday, let's go and get you a kitchenaid mixer". He was scoring many points but i was still concern about the cost. We were going to Palm Beach Outlet where there is a kitchen shop and i saw the refurbished stand mixer! In Red!!!! I always wanted a red one. I was thrilled with the price and also bought the mincing and sausage making kit. I used it for the first time today and made some ginger cake. I can't wait to use it again and try the mincer and sausage maker.

I bought this not knowing for sure if it would work like a brand new one would ,but I was so excited when I got it...it looked just like it had just came from the factory brand new and never used. It runs great is not noisy as other reviews I had read after I bought it. I am 100% satified and I would recomend a certified Refurbished KitchenAid mixer to any one that is looking for a great product at a great price!!! I Love mine and will never get ride of it . It is very well made heavy and strong enough to make anything I want

I got this for my birthday to replace a taller version kitchenaid that would not fit under my cabinets! It does not seem as powerful as my taller mixer but is is quieter even on full speed! Great at whipping things, as for the dough hook, not as good but still better than other brands by far!

Not only is it a work of beauty,it does everything,love to turn it on and go do something else.I was a little worried about buying a refurbished one ,but the lady told me she had one,didn't have any trouble with it,said she sold a lot of them, so i got it, saved a lot of money, I'm in love with my mixer,Red is is so pretty,Im very happy with it, wanted one for years.
