I bought my washer and dryer about a month ago. I love them both! What was 6 loads a week, I can do in 3. The size allows more clothes, but there is no crowding, and they get clean, even with doing larger loads. I love them both, my kids want to come over and use them, because they would get their laundry done so much quicker!

It dries the clothes with manual intervention

This dryer works, but often large loads finish still damp using the automatic moisture sensor. If you use timed dry it works fine, but you still need to determine the time needed manually. Other than that, we are happy with this dryer.

We purchased the Dryer from Best Buy Oct. 3 The Dryer motor and Rubber wheels yhe drum rotate on in lest than a month. Best Buy gave me yhe run around. Before an agent figured out Maytag has a year warranty on the Dryer. They sold me a left hand door swing kn the Washer. which doesn't work in our laundry room.

Good Dryer, Early Problems

Wife and I purchased a washer and dryer together. They look great simple to use. We installed them on 10/13/19 a few loads in we noticed the 'extra Power' button would turn on when it sensed our finger near it. This would make the extra power button turn on when our hand was close then off again when the bottom was pushed. Also would randomly blink on and off during a load. The washer and dryer both work excellent the dryer is large and drys great! We will be getting a new console on both the washer and dryer Installed in a few weeks. I will try to give another review after the work is done.

I was expecting better quality and performance from this Maytag dryer. My biggest complaint is the heat generated outside the cabinet. The unit is in my garage and when operating heats up the whole area. I can't imagine if I had the unit in the house! Drying capability is okay. I also bought the pedestal to raise up the door and that works okay but the pedestal is so cheaply made. I'm surprised it holds the dryer! It's a pretty design to look at but very cheap quality.

The thing I don't like is that the buttons are too sensitive. Sometimes lean against the dryer to place something the surface or place something on a shelf above it, and I don't realize I have turned the switch off with my body.

I had been having to dry clothes several times through the old dryer before they were actually dry. With my new Maytag dryer my clothes come out dry and wrinkle free the first time.

This looks so sleek. Quiet operation. Bell for completed load is too quiet. Lots of options. I didn't want or need the wifi connection. These would be TOO LOW with out the bases.

Even though certain cycles give you the time to dry, it sensors that it may not need all of it. Saves money!

I bought this with the matching washer. It is quick and quiet. It looks great in my new laundry room. I originally picked this set because I wanted to be able to stack the machines (my laundry room is small). But now I like the idea of them setting side by side, with a countertop on top of them for folding laundry.The only down side is that it is a bit of a bend to get the clothes out, so I am thinking about getting pedestals to set the dryer and washer on.

I love my new Maytag dryer. After a two month battle with the retailer, this Maytag dryer actually replaced another brand that would not dry clothes properly because of a poor design. My Maytag dries just as it should!
