The Right Choice For Me..

This refrigerator is great and it's in my Florida room..Love the light in the freezer...Most don't have that in this price range...The freezer froze my cup of water just hours after I first plugged it in. Usually, you have to wait 12-24 hours before you place food in it. It is spacious with great compartments and shelves..So far so good....

Cabin Refrigerator

We bought this for or cabin in the mountains so Home Depot would not deliver to the cabin. I had it delivered to my house and putt into the back of my truck. This meant I had to unpack, switch door direction and putt in place myself. The door was much more cumbersome then other ones I've done. The plugs broke when I pulled them to move to other side. Also, it is not level on it's wheels with the front higher than the back so the screw out legs won't help with leveling. I looked through the instructions and did not find a solution.

I like the full width storage for cheese and sandwich meat especially. Having some problems getting the temperature right. When the freezer is cold enough the fridge is too cold and when the freezer is too warm the fridge is just right.

I have no refrigerator

I have had two of these refrigerators in my home within a month after going back-and-forth with Home Depot and Maytag/Whirlpool corporate offices. Each telling me that I had to deal with the other to get the issues resolved.It is been over a month since I have had a working refrigerator. I purchased this refrigerator because it had overall good reviews. Neither refrigerator I received maintains the appropriate temperatures. I realized this after I purchased the first one and got sick from food kept in the refrigerator. The refrigerator and freezer controls were set at the recommended settings and initially got to the right temperatures within the first 24 hours but apparently did not maintain. The freezer temperature went up to 20° and the refrigerator to 45°! A freezer should be at or below 0° and refrigerator under 40°. Since I didn't realize the problem within the required 48 hours I could not return the refrigerator. A Maytag Repair person came out and said it was the compressor -there was absolutely no frost buildup in the the freezer. Since it would've taken the same amount of time to get the part as a new refrigerator I wanted a new refrigerator and not a broken one that had to be repaired. I waited a week and a half for the replacement refrigerator. The 2nd one did not maintain the correct temperatures. Freezer going up to 20° again and the refrigerator over 40°! I am now a month without a refrigerator. They are finally coming to pick up the second refrigerator tomorrow after making me wait another week. Unless you want your food to be spoiled, lose $ on food, waste hours of your time waiting for refrigerators to be delivered and then picked up (The first one was scheduled to be delivered between 10-3 And arrived at 7:30 PM.! ), monitoring temperatures and taking pictures of thermometers as proof to send to corporate offices, and then go without a refrigerator for a month. This has been a nightmare!!!! Do not buy this refrigerator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When this fridge arrived the handle was separated from the door, exposing white insulation. Since the fridge is black it stuck out like a sore thumb. They delivered a second one that was even worse! We kept the third one they delivered, but all three have minor cosmetic imperfections that we're just going to have to live with. Brand new appliance should not look second hand. Stay away from this company!

So far l am pleased with the absolutely simple straight forward and practical fridge with one exception. One of the guard rails on the door has popped off several times causing on one occasion a carton of eggs to fall and smash all over my new fridge. So due to the mess I had to clean I must rate it less than five.

For the price I paid, I can't complain because it keeps food cold. Other then that, there is nothing about this refrigerator that screams quality. Special order product, shipped twice to my door, both times it was damaged directly from the factory. Dent's, chips, and defects in the coating on the doors. The last one we accepted at a discounted rate, only to find that the door hinge broke a day later.

I only have this for two weeks, and so far it is running good, and it should, the problem I have is when it is set up on display, it is just a little bit off the floor, but when you set it up at home it is off the floor entirely too much. Another bad feature is the ice cubes, some are paper thin, I don't know if this will clear up, if not, I'm having second thoughts.

Big freezer

I purchased this refrigerator 2weeks ago and am very pleased with the purchase. It serves as my backup refrigerator/freezer. Pizza boxes fit easily in the freezer and it's big enough to easily access items. I am impressed by how much the freezer holds, which was a big reason for the purchase.

Door holds a lot which is nice. The light in the fridge is not as bright which is also enjoyable. Still trying to figure out proper shelf positions after 2 weeks so may add another star in the future.

I have had the Maytag refrigerator for about three [3] weeks, and I like everything about it. I go a long way back in age [19 June 1934] and so does Maytag, I know that it has the Hi-Tech and I am very comfortable with the refrigerator, thanks.

I am very pleased so far, runs very quiet and very bright inside. Shelf spacing is kind of on the down side. But have since adjusted.

So far so good,I have had the refrigerator for a month now with no cooling or freezing problems. Only problem was the hole plug hinge sleeve was broken when i received the refrigerator. Checked the website for replacement part and they want $30.99 hahaha...nah. Just an FYI and may have been a fluke, but the store said it would take 30 days to receive the refrigerator after ordering but it was ready for pickup in 3 days.

Great Frig for smaller spaces

I bought this Maytag frig in June of this year. I live in an older home and have narrow doorways. I needed a refrigerator that could hold quite a bit and still fit in my house. This frig works great, holds a milk gallon and eggs in the door and has most of the features that I wanted for my family of four. It's quiet as well.

Unit runs and cools fine except the motor is noisy. Lighting is not good once you place any tall items on the top shelf.

Great second refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator for my garage. It has a lot of nice features including ashelf for eggs that can be flipped up for tall bottles. Love, love, love the shallow pull out drawer in the top. Great refrigerator for a small price.
