This part is designed to evenly dispense detergent throughout the fill process in Precision Dispensing washers; the container holds enough detergent for as many as 36 loads of laundry and will alert you when you need to add additional detergent. This is an accessory that can be used with select washing machine models only; check to see if your model number is compatible. No disassembly or repair experience is needed to use this accessory. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
