I have had the same cooktop for over 19 years. When I moved I bought a new one, the same one I had. It is now 3 years old. I have had the top replaced under a year and now have water marks I can't get off. Never again. They don't make them like the use to.

I bought this to replace a Jenn air downdraft cook top that we had for about 25 years. Sadly it wore out. The Whirlpool cook top is wonderful. The dual size burners are perfect. It cleans beautifully and looks great in out 1929 black and white art deco kitchen. I love the feature that lights up st say when the unit is on and when it remains hot. I highly recommend this cook top. I was lucky I bought it on sale with $200.00 off but it really is worth full price.
