We only had three requirements for a new range: 1) It had to be a white Whirlpool to match all of our other appliances. 2) It had to be a smooth top for easy care & cleaning. 3) The oven had to be self-cleaning. This range filled those needs and also came with dual element burners, a 5th warming burner, and a "Steam Clean" oven, all in our price zone. A major improvement of standard features you might look for in a range.

Had to quickly replace our stove when the top cracked and this was a great price. Burners heat up quickly, love that the oven lets you know when up to temp and everything is easy to use and understand. Only thing I would change is the color of the read out. The blue is very hard to read from any sort of a distance. Green would be better or the ability to change colors.

Disappointed

I've had this range for about three weeks and the oven still makes noises when it heats and when it cools. This is very disappointing after having been told by Lowes that Whirlpool is the best appliance. I've had many ranges, but never one that makes noises in the oven. Also, the oven light doesn't come on when the door is opened.

Good No Frills Appliance

I rushed to buy a replacement stove. Should have researched more. This is a good stove but lacks features I had before. I miss having a lighted back panel. Also a black cook top with gray speckles. Unable to find any brand with that great feature. The oven coil seems to squeak as it preheats which is annoying. All in all I could be happier.
