easy to operate does the job well

When our old dryer broke we limped along using the laundry mat to dry our clothes for about a month. We had seen our future dryer at Home Depot and were set on getting this one because of the 1. Simple controls, basic operation, and the price. Of all the dryers I have had in my existance I like this one the best. We are planning on getting the matching washer. ( Our old washer is on its last legs)

Gave it 4 stars because I only have it for a month so It's too early to say. My old Whirlpool dryer is an identical style and lasted almost 15 years without any single repair until it gave up after so many years. My 15 year old Whirlpool washer still working at this time, had one repair done. I love Whirlpool appliances.

The dryer works very well. The front door does tend to get very hot, although the clothing do not seem to be over heated. Had a technician look at it and he stated that verifying temperatures turned out normal. Does do a good job of drying clothes
