Time Feauture

We bought this oven a month ago and the Time/Clock feature keeps changing even once we hooked it to WIFI (which is ridiculous) it still changed with a few days. We had it serviced but service man could do NOTHING to remedy the problem. Has to do with Whirlpool reinstalling a "kit" to avail the issue (possibly). Also oven came with the packaging tape, which they took off - but it looks as if the packaging tape made an impression on the stove that is NOT coming off ... waiting for Whirlpool to send me (their) stainless steel cleaner to (possibly) remedy the impression.

Installed recently. Pretty straight forward. Guaranteed fit worked well, but was a bit disappointed with how flimsy the adjustment feet seemed. Getting used to the different modes of operation which are different from old ovens. Very disappointed with how dim the oven interior lights are and the inability to adjust the brightness; difficult to see how cooking is progressing and if items are properly "browned". Looks great though and wife is pleased, although she is a bit intimidated with the different operating modes. She'll get used to it though.

A smart oven, connects to wifi, can be controlled by a phone app and send notifications etc... If you really love baking, this has everything except for the one thing a baker needs and that is "Proofing". Back to the old ways of proofing with this oven though our last oven had us spoiled with a reliable proofing option; the dough rose consistently. Aside from that, the oven is an oven is an oven and performs like any other double convection oven with the assistance of preprogrammed cooking options via the touch screen.

We had oven installed 3 weeks ago. It is a joy to use and so very easy to operate. The unit heats up quickly and when comparing our cooking temperature to a thermometer we are on target. If I had a complaint it would be that the cooking alarm is a bit to soft.

Bought this 2 months ago. Almost everything works fine. The one problem is the clock/timer. It keeps reverting back to January @ noon. that shouldnt be happening. The first one we ordered had a defective clock that couldnt be reset so the installer took it back with him and ordered this new oven. Is there a defect with the clock?

Purchased unit on 07-06-19 to replace a 14 year old Whirlpool double oven that the display board failed to light up. Replacement display no longer available as it was deemed a discontinued item by Whirlpool. Advised by retailer where the new unit was purchased, Nebraska Furniture Mart; that due to a manufacturer supply issues because the unit had to be special factory ordered; the new unit could not be delivered/installed until 07-26-19. Contacted again by Nebraska Furniture Mart and advised that continued manufacturer supply issues the delivery/install pushed back to 08-02-19. Nebraska Furniture Mart installers on 08-02-19 installed the unit then hurriedly left without performing a operational performance check. Oven not used from 08-02-19 until 08-10-19 due to family matters. Attempted to use unit on 08-10-19. Upper and lower cavities would not heat beyond 170 degrees fahrenheit, show error code F8E0 and then would self shut off. Whirlpool customer service contacted on 08-12-19. Whirlpool customer service arranged for warranty service for 08-14-19. Service technician advised both cavity fans DOA and replacement parts availability was unknown and that it could be up to another month or longer if the parts needed would be available. Service technician advised that Whirlpool has had known quality control issues with this product. Not being able to use a functioning oven for 5 plus weeks and being advised that it could be another 4 more weeks before possible repairs makes me question why we purchased this product. Retailer contacted and their customer service advised that they could exchange the unit but it would be 3 or more weeks longe, providing manufacturer supply delays do not continue; before the exchange unit could arrive at their location because they would need to special order the product again and they acknowledge manufacturer supply and quality control on going issues is well know to them as we are not the only people who have purchased this product and encountered issues.

This was a builder upgrade which we selected primarily because I wanted a convection oven. It came with a "Smart" feature which I have yet to use. I tried connecting it but gave up after it couldn't find the wi-fi network. Every other thing in my house can find it. The touchpad screen is difficult to scroll as it keeps popping back to the beginning. It is almost a two hand job to get to the lower items.

Dumb Oven

Opposite of smart. Somehow the touch screen doesn't want to scroll. It appears I'm not the only person with this issue. I didn't really want a smart oven to start with and now I have one that doesn't work after my reno. Whirlpool self directed help is less than helpful and I can't connect to the network to try and see if the app can diagnose and issue. I make apps and smart devices for a living so if I'm frustrated, non technical people are going to hate this.

I have had these ovens for about three months. So far I have not seen any deficiencies. The display panel is sleek and very easy to you. I love the timing features ... these ovens will tell you how long your food has been cooking since the oven reached the stipulated temperature. I am impatient and put the food in the oven before it reaches the correct temperature.

Real cook not happy

I bought this a week before Thanksgiving, large oven didn't work. So much for cooking a turkey. Had a swap out set up, so far only cook top was used. Glass on cook top is sooo fragile it scratched within only a few uses. For a real cook I'm not happy that my new range already has scratches. My previous range was a glass cook top that last 25 plus years and never scrathed like this one .

Can't get ours to work

New build home, just moved in, and oven doesn't work. First, the touch screen doesn't hold a scroll except maybe once in 25 attempts. When we turn either oven on, it auto shuts off within 5 minutes with a error about cooling fan speed(F8e1). Guess we won't be doing any holiday baking (or just cooking in general) in our new home for quite a while. There's enough stress with moving - dealing with repairs on an expensive oven makes it much worse.

Bought this oven a few weeks ago. So far it has been working very good with no issues. Loved the wifi connectivity and the app was a bit tricky, yet had to get used to it and know how to properly set it up. Also we liked the big see seethrough glass doors, where it made it easy to watch the food while cooking.

Update on the 3rd trip from the repair people

So after replacing all the parts, it still is not working properly. The repair people said whirlpool will review the situation for a couple of days and then contact me. Tge repair people said it needs to be replaced. So after 4 months of waiting we are still waiting for a fully working double convection oven.

We bought our oven two weeks ago to replace an aging and very noisy Kitchenaid double wall oven. We had heard these oven were much quieter than the Kitchenaid but we weren't totally sure that was the case. Truly the " next generation" of double wall ovens from Whirlpool. And the new dropped perfectly into the space! The control panel is so intuitive and easy to use. We get alerts when we are away that the kids have put the oven on. We couldn't be happier. We were wondering whether we should be looking at a more expensive brand but so glad we didn't pay more than we needed for this 10/10 oven.
