We purchased this a month ago and really like all of the features it has to offer. Plenty of space and an option to easily condense a self in order to put taller items in without having to rearrange everything. We also purchased the second ice maker for the drawer portion. This has saved trips to the store to purchase additional ice for coolers or when we have guests over. We would highly recommend this fridge!

Straigt away - have problems with ice dispenser.

We looked long and hard for just the right frig - thought we had succeeded until we tried to use the ice / water dispenser. Have tried a myriad of different angles on the trigger and have found it to be exceptionally and agonizingly irritating. It works for a second, then cuts off - try a different angle - cuts off - try punching it several times - it cuts off - try to put the glass lower or higher - it cuts off. We will contact Lowes tomorrow and see what we can do, but really is annoying.

The loud damper noise on this model is bad. After about a month We started hearing it. Its like a helicopter flying through our home multiple times per hour. We have already had Whirlpool send a tech. Nothing can be done. Says thats the way this model is.

We bought this refrigerator about 3 weeks ago based on the Whirlpool reputation and the recommendation of the repair person who tried to fix our previous Kenmore Pro refrigerator that died after only 3 years. We love the layout and basic functions of our new Whirlpool but already there are problems with the ice maker leaking water into the refrigerator. Thankfully, we bought a maintenance agreement (can you really afford to go without one these days?) and, hopefully, a call for a repair will make everything work properly and bring us closer to the 5-star rating.

Ice maker issue

We purchased this as a replacement for a 10 year old Electrolux French door which was a constant problem primarily with the ice maker. So many service calls I've lost count so we went back with a Whirlpool as we have an older side by side in another kitchen and it's been absolutely trouble free. Well, just our luck, the ice maker in the door of our brand new fridge hasn't made a single cube of ice so Lowe's came out today and replaced the fridge with another one. Time will tell the tale. You'd think that after 50 or 60 years of making refrigerators with ice makers this should never be an issue. As refrigerators seem to have become disposable, I'd highly recommend buying the extended warranty. Today's refrigerators are much more complex that the older ones and quite expensive.

We took delivery on this refrigerator two weeks ago and are extremely happy with it. The ice makers are fast, although it is quite loud when dispensing. Other reviewers complained about the water dispenser dribbling after the glass was pulled away and our installer warned us about that, but we haven't seen it. Overall accessibility is very good and all of the drawers and compartments make it easy to organize. Overall an excellent purchase!

The refrigerator left by the previous owners of the house my wife and I purchased and moved into, looked nice on the outside, but had very little room on the inside. We couldn't even stand up a bottle of wine in it. The ice maker was so big it took up a lot of usable space. The water dispenser would spray water everywhere. I had a 5 year-old Samsung, that needed annual repairs (twice this year in the span of 2 months) since it was 2 years old. I liked the French doors and wanted the same for the new refrig, which is about a month old. Still trying to get use to the noises, it makes and hope they aren't a sign of problems to come.

Great fridge!

After three weeks of use, I am loving my new fridge. My favorite features are the dual ice makers and the lighting. The noises that other reviewers mention are minimal and last only a few seconds. The top doors are not self closing, so I have to be mindful of that to be sure that they are pushed and closed. The narrow middle drawer is a perfect place for canned beverages, and the pullout platter shelf is a great feature too. I am still learning where to store our favorite items in the freezer but that takes some time. The pizza section is a neat idea...I am looking forward to seeing how my new fridge deals with the upcoming holiday meals!

We recently purchased this refrigerator after our previous one died. This refrigerator has great features, such as two ice makers which we love. The layout maximizes both refrigerator and freezer space and it's easy to clean. The LED lighting is a nice feature and the refrigerator runs quietly. It's only been a few weeks but we are very happy with our purchase. Oh, I also love all of the in-door storage.

DOUBLE ICE MAKER!

We love our new refrigerator! There are so many organizational opportunities in this fridge. Love all the see through drawers and the adjustable shelves. This refrigerator has a double ice maker which was a selling point for us. The top in the door ice maker gives you more actual refrigerator space. It is quieter than our previous ice make. The freezer ice maker is wonderful. We were always running out of ice but no longer! The fingerprint proof stainless is a wonderful feature. Would definitely recommend this refrigerator.

We bought this in September. Even in the store we liked some of the features, like the dual ice storage bins. The extra lighting in the refrigerator compartment have been an unexpected benefit. The two shelves in the freezer provide plenty of space without having to overfill just one. We're really happy we bought Whirlpool.
