Fit our needs

We bought this 2 months ago because it would fit into our limited space. So far I am fairly happy with the unit. Definitely is keeping food in fridge and freezer colder than our previous unit. At times I feel it is noisy yet my wife thinks otherwise, I may be critical to the frequency as its running. Freezer door was scratched, probably by installer as they were installing the handle. Replacement door came in and is fine. As others have complained we too believe storage bins on freezer door need to be redesigned as food does slip out the bottom. We were told that due to the variable speed compressors these units will run longer and that has been our experience.

Live on a small non-ferried island where everything has to be barged on island (expensive) SO one does not knowingly buy junk "on purpose"!! Updated to all new stainless appliances BUT Samsung did not carry the size refrigerator that would fit our space so went with Whirlpool brand because it had a model proper width size and looked good, matching our other appliances reasonably. After getting it in place, plugged in and content of the old into the new refrigerator we find that door on the refrigerator <not upper freezer> has a unbearable high pitched "double" squeal as you open the door and again a double squeal when you closed it!! Looked in the manual thinking this was a feature that let you know when the wife was trying to "sneak something" AND could be turned off! Found nothing, soon realized that Whirlpool must "portion control" their "door hinge grease" sort of like McDonalds and the "pickle"! *In defense of the product <although new and might quit tomorrow> it looks good, does not readily show finger prints, is quiet AND the interiors space management is superb! With that said, two stars is probably harsh.., guess I am just VERY disappointed with having paid for a "new" appliance the extra out of pocket expense of getting it here (remote location "no" repairman) ONLY to have to get MY tools out to make it a viable product!!!

Very happy with this fridge. It's very spacious with excellent lighting in the freezer and main section. I also love the adjustable shelving units. Really makes it easy to change spaces as needed depending on our grocery needs.

We love the size and Fir of this fridge for our older kitchen. A lot of room and nice wide shelves. Runs quiet and we have an open kitchen living room area. Two things they should change to make it a better unit. The freezer shelf has a gap on the bottom of the shelf and the front side. Small items fall through. The freezer door hinge on oitside top of fridge has no cover, exposing the hardware and since the fridge is not as tall, shows itself. Aesthetically not as nice as units with a hinge cover.

Great Fridge!

My other Fridge was dying and we are waiting for a total remodel of our kitchen and wanted all Stainless Steel in our new kitchen so we looked for a new fridge. Since there's only the two of us we didn't need one of those big fancy double triple water in the door freezer on the bottom jobs so we picked this one that was basically the same size as the old one but the storage inside is incredible as compared to the one it replaced. LED lighting through out and spacious, even the freezer with the ice maker takes little space! We love it and would make this purchase all over again!
