Liked the reputation of Whirlpool, and the fact that it's supposedly made in America, which were the reasons that we paid that much for this Fridge, (trust me, there were a lot of others that were much less expensive)! VERY DISSAPPOINTED that after only 5 MONTHS, the freezer started to defrost (of course, it was full of meats!). Then, we had to wait almost a full week to get it repaired! Computer boards.

Bought this fridge from Whirlpool photo, special order. When arrived, sides were black not Stainless, from Black Stainless & handles a noticeably lighter stainless. The fridge itself is great, but the aesthetic look of it is awful. Everyone who has seen it says ,why does this fridge have different colored handles? There is no Disclaimer on Whirlpools websites stating this could happen either. After spending over $ 4000 ,you would think Customer Satisfaction was Number One .When I asked to exchange for all black fridge, both Leon's & Whirlpool keep passing the buck, neither can make a decision. It's been a month of phone calls to managers, customer service rep's from both companies, still not resolved. So if you don't see it, you can't feel or touch it physically....Do Not Buy It ! It looks nice in the picture, but it's not what you end up getting. Once you have paid for it, neither company cares .

Bought this for my retirement gift. Now have matching appliances. Wonderful. Love the LED lights. One thing that is not pleasing, is the odor. Repair person, after checking for defect, recommended adding 2 boxes of baking soda, in addition to the odor thing from Whirlpool. That has worked very well. No odor. Be aware the ice bin is small but after a few days is kept full. Love the storage areas--3 drawers. I woulda liked some suggestions to what the staff are intended. Nice having the ice maker in the door which increases the space in ight. Overall, I love it.

Bought couple a weeks so far the dispenser is the only thing that is not good, To dispense water or ice you must push hard on it. Also I think the actual switch to activate is two high. The water dispenser hose is far out (away from actual door) In other words when put a cup to activate the water; the water falls to close to the edge of the cup.

Huge amount of visible, usable space!

Have only had this about 2 weeks, but so far LOVING IT. Black stainless is beautiful and no fingerprints (yay). The external drawer is a game changer with the kids snacks, organizing for grab/pack school lunch items, drinks, etc. The main refrigerator space is huge, well lit, and adjusts well. Put my milk and drinks in the fridge vs. door. Was worried about ice capacity, but it's just fine and makes ice very quickly! Fridge runs with a routine "hum" but we can live with it. Freezer organization is excellent - the two drawers create great visibility and the bigger drawer at the bottom is well structured for anything (even a large frozen turkey!) + frozen pizza box space is really helpful.

Used for a month. Quiet. Went from 25 yr old side by side to this model. Nice shelf space but dont like small gap at back of shelves. Small things can fall threw. Got the ice maker in door so as to not decrease my shelf space. Ice maker ok doesnt hold ton of ice adequate for 2 people. Should have gotten ice maker in bottom freezer as I lost entire side of door shelving. Color and fingerprint resistant excellent. Small covered bin in the front holds small pkg ketchup, mustard, soy sauce. Or my favorite snack size pieces of chocolate. Freezer on bottom adjustment. Like pull out shelves but very shallow. Maybe 1 deeper one not 2 shallow. Freezer not big enough for family but we have deep freeze in basement too.

This refrigerator was a replacement for a 32 cu. ft. Whirlpool that we only had for a few months beyond the original warranty, but had continuing issues with it freezing up the cooling unit. Whirlpool went the extra mile and offered this fridge as a replacement. We've only had it just less than a month, but we are very pleased so far. Even though it's a good bit smaller, it still seems to have plenty of room for us. The ice-maker is considerably more efficient than our previous model, making ice much faster. We hope it continues to work as well as it has initially.

I bought this refrigerator to update my kitchen (25 year old beige to black stainless steel). It seems to cool foods great, and has different shelving for a variety of container sizes. I wish there was a little more door space. I am not a fan of chest freezers, but having three drawers helps to alleviate having to dig for something. However, it also takes up space. It's not much of a problem for us because we also have an upright, full-size freezer. I like having the ice in the door, thus the lack of door space; so that is a wash. I do not like that the water dispenser is so far out. I assume it helps in filling pitchers, etc., but when filling glasses, water tends to go all over the place unless you hold the glass right under the tube. I like the smaller ice cubes, but you have to hold the glass right up against the dispenser so it doesn't fall all over the floor. This tends to happen anyway if someone has used the crushed ice feature. The refrigerator looks great, doesn't smudge, and we like the convenient refrigerator drawer feature for drinks, yogurt, lunch meat, etc. Overall, I am happy with our purchase.

We have had our refrigerator for a month now. We love it! No fingerprints and I love the adjustable shelving. The water dispenser does drip a little after use so I need to be sure to wipe it up so I don't get a hard water stain.

Beautiful Refrigerator

I am totally pleased with our choice for this refrigerator. The middle drawer might be the greatest thing in a refrig design ever. We choose the black stainless steel which I love but unfortunately the sides are the patent leather material...that was what my old frig was and I couldn't wait to get away from it...so if I designed it it would be black stainless steel throughout all areas that are seen. Other than that I love love love it!!!!

Lots of storage room!

I bought this refrigerator over a month ago and am enjoying it very much. The storage shelve on the door actually hold alot! I like having the refrigerated drawer and the easy to reach freezer drawer with two shelves deep enough to hold frozen packages etc. The only thing I am having trouble getting use to is the drawer handles on the vegitable drawers being on the bottom of the front of the drawer. It would be great if the area where the filter goes was not so low inside. If the whole refrigerator was maybe 2-3 inches taller to accomodate the Ice maker and Filter so they did not take up the inside storage room.

I've had this fridge for a couple of weeks and I love it so far. It has plenty of storage and it is very kid friendly. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the dispenser is kind of hard to push to get the ice or water.
